The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux recognises that Revivre offers essential services to the population, but it funds the organisation a meagre 27% of its annual budget, which is not sufficient. Therefore Revivre must turn to private companies and organise fundraising events to fill this financial gap. Our services are therefore in a precarious position and the development of new services is limited.
Revivre needs your help. Your contributions to the organisation are directly used for our hot-line, our information and reference services.
One time donation Filling out the donation form or the memoriam donation form (for donations in memory of a loved one, you will indicate the name of the person or the family. The amount will not be disclosed). You can also make a one-time donation, memoriam donation, honour, or monthly donation on-line through

Monthly donation When you make monthly donations (on-line via Canadahelps.org), you help ensure regular funding which enables us to better plan our activities. By using Canadahelps.org for your monthly donations you help reduce postal and handling costs because all is done electronically (reception of donation and tax receipt issued).
Stock donations or planned donations Consult the government of Canada website to learn how you can benefit from this kind of donation : http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/p113/p113-e.html .
Deductions at source If you company provides deduction at source service, you can probably chose which organisation benefits from your donation. By choosing Revivre you will contribute to maintain our services that help thousands of people. Find out with your Human Resources if such a service exists in your company.

Fundraising Activities You want to help us raise money but you do not know how? Here are the steps to follow:
1) Choose an activity you would like to participate in. You will have better success with your event if you enjoyed it;
2) Find an objective. If you belong to a company or an organisation, your fundraising event could be for mutual aid, to socialise, or better still to reinforce team work;
3) Identify a target public;
4) Start a planning committee that will help you plan the event. Do not work alone. Find friends and colleagues who can help you;
5) Determine a deadline. Do not prepare the event at the last minute, it can only burn you out and jeopardize attaining your objectives;
6) Make a budget, with either all possible sources of income, or all expenses related to the organization and realisation of the event;
7) After the event, make a cheque to Revivre and send it to us;
8) Remember to thank all participants and contributors by letting them know how much money the event has raised.
Ensure that you get Revivre’s approbation for your activity by sending the name of the event, its objective, budget, deadline, as well as the names of the organising committee participants at financement@revivre.org.
